This morning our class had an AMAZING time thinking like artists at the DIA museum. The students were able to experience two aspects of art. First, students were able to observe and interpret art created by professionals. The second part of the experience was students creating their own works of art. This was by far their favorite part! Students used familar images and recreated them in artistic ways. Students were also able to created their own stories and videos on with the magnets and storyboard learns. The DIA presenters and I were very impressed with the students imaginative thinking, creativity, and excellent behavior. We even received such a nice compliment from our RCS bus driver! It was a fantastic experience for our 4th graders! Check out the pictures below!!!
